INTRODUCTION

Yuzhnoye State Design Office (YSDO) is one of the world-known and recognized scientific engineering offices dealing with rocketry development, in partnership with other companies designing sophisticated high technology projects on turnkey terms.

YSDO concentrates its activities on rockets upgrading, designing of spacecraft, providing commercial launch services.

Internationally known rockets Zenit-2, Zenit-3SL, Zenit-3SLB, Cyclone-2, Cyclone-3 and Dnepr are in demand around the globe. Designed and orbited spacecraft are solving the tasks of Earth remote sensing, near-Earth space and solar-terrestrial relation exploration. As ordered by Arab Republic of Egypt, spacecraft Egyptsat-1 was designed and orbited.

Extending the international cooperation, YSDO joined Federative Republic of Brazil in developing of Cyclone-4 Space Launch System on the Alcantara site. Also YSDO is involved into development of Mayak family rockets, designs and markets spacecraft of different purposes and rocket engines.

Know-how and scientific achievements of the YSDO team in the fields of dynamics, ballistics, aerodynamics, thermodynamics, materials technology, strength, reliability, testing and measurements are the strong foundations of new high quality designs of rockets, spacecraft and rocket engines.
